I am a Research Data Librarian, who advocates to researchers and students for Open Data and supports researchers to make their data open. I came to Open Access and Data from a background in libraries and development studies, and am passionate about opening up the research process in order to reduce inequalities, both within and outside academia. Prior to recently changing jobs I worked at the University of Cambridge where I set up a network of ‘Data Champions’ who advocate for effective data management and sharing within their departments. I was also part of the OpenCon Cambridge satellite group, helping to organise a satellite event in 2016, and now take part in OpenCon Librarian calls.
