I am currently a graduate student at Emory University in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences. My research interest is focused around using empirical data to develop predictive models of infectious disease outbreaks and treatment outcome. Outside of science, I am interested in furthering diversity and inclusion in the sciences despite differences in socioeconomic background, religion, gender identify, race, etc. I hope to gain ideas on developing open data repositories for graduate students to develop collaborations and how to transition Emory University to an open education campus from attending OpenCon.
