Helene Brinken
University of Göttingen, State and University Library Project Officer FOSTER
Germany
I studied International Information Management (MA) at University of Hildesheim in Germany. Due to my engagement for the NGO Plan International, I mainly dealt with Open Education during the last years. Writing my Master’s thesis about intergenerational knowledge sharing, I got more into Open Knowledge and Open Science. My passion for these topics and especially for Open Science derives from feeling responsible for the future of our world. Education is the key to development and democracy. All people should benefit from research and therefore need free access to scientific data and results. I currently work as project officer for the projects FOSTER and FIT4RRI.
